Susanne Moss, PT
Susanne has a rich physicial therapy background. Since graduating as a Physical Therapist in Wuerzbeurg, Germany in 1994, Susanne has worked in a wide variety of physicial therapy settings including outpatient, inpatient, resident rehab, and home care. Susanne has enjoyed integrating her European education with what she has learned in the US. Her continuing education is varied and includes Muscle Energy Technique, MFR in a clinical approach, and therapy management of chronic neurological disability. Susanne enjoys treating many different diagnoses and age groups. She considers main interests conservative and postoperative orthopedics and systemic conditions. Her rehab philosophy is holistic with an emphasis on patient education. She believes in a strong functional approach with patient education along with patient accountability and communication with physicians is key to excellent rehab outcomes.
Jeff Romig, PTA
Jeff graduated in 2007 with an Associate Degree in Applied Science as a Physical Therapist Assistant from Mott Community College. He has worked primarily in the out-patient orthopedics setting. Prior to his mid-life career change, Jeff worked in property management managing apartment communities, as well as coaching high school swim teams. He also received a Bachelors of Business Administration from Eastern Michigan University where he was a successful Mid American Conference swimmer for four years.
Steven Sylvertooth, PTA
Steven graduated in 1995 with an Associate Degree in Applied Science as a Physical Therapist Assistant from Davenport University. He also graduated from Spring Arbor University with a Bachelor Degree in Management and Organizational Development and as a life-time learner, Steven completed his Masters Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in finance also from Davenport University. His work experience has been rich in physical therapy with settings in acute care, out-patient, sports med, geriatrics, and in schools where he has treated students with special needs. He is active in his church and has coached various teams for Special Olympics in the past.
Marge Taylor, PT, ATC, JSCC
Marge Taylor PT, ATC, JSCC
Marge graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelors of Exercise and Sport Science and completed National certification as an Athletic Trainer. She then completed her physical therapy degree from Oakland University in 1986. Marge then worked in a variety of settings including hospital based outpatient, nursing home, work site rehabilitation and private outpatient orthopedic facilities. In addition, Marge provided high school and community college athletic training coverage.
Marge specializes in a gentle manual therapy approach as evidenced by her certification in Jones Strain Counterstrain in 2003. She enjoys sharing her expertise educationally at local, district and national professional conferences as well as the MHSAA Coaches Advancement Program. This passion for teaching and learning took her a further step. She presently works as a graduate assistant at Michigan State University teaching while working on a doctorate degree in Kinesiology specializing in low back pain and manual therapy.
Curtis P. Wood, OTRL, NSCA-CPT
Curtis is a 1999 graduate of Eastern
Michigan University with a Bachelors of Science in Occupational
Therapy. He received his certification as a Personal Trainer
from the National Strength and Conditioning Association
in 2002. Curtis has been a staff therapist with ARM Assessment-Rehabilitation-Management,
Inc. since May of 2000, with specialized focus on Hand Therapy,
Evaluation, Work Hardening Therapy (preparing patients for return
to work), and Functional Capacity Evaluations.
Past employment experiences in fast food, graphic arts, printing,
landscaping and automotive part manufacturing provide a broad
base of occupational knowledge, which is utilized for improved
understanding of patient needs and improved therapeutic outcomes.
Amy L. Velazquez, OTRL
Amy is a 2004 graduate of Florida Atlantic University with a Bachelors of Science degree in Exercise Science and Health Promotion and a 2007 graduate of Nova Southeastern University with a Masters degree in Occupational Therapy. Amy has been a staff therapist with ARM since November, 2008. Prior to joining ARM, she worked at Ingham Regional Medical Center in acute care rehabilitation.
